Job summary

Clean Energy Services is hiring an entry-level Solar O&M Technician I to support safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of ground-mounted solar systems. You will work under the Lead Technician and follow safety and company procedures on each site.

The role involves preventive maintenance, site inspections, and occasional travel, with opportunities to grow in the solar field and contribute to performance and safety improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of experience in solar, electrical, construction, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and hand/power tool use.
• Ability to read and interpret site engineering drawings, maps, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine preventive maintenance inspections (PMI), troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance/replacements of solar equipment (trackers, PV panels, disconnects, inverters, transformers).
• Assist with site inspections such as security, fencing, vegetation, and safety items.
• Assist with warranty-related items with EPC and/or manufacturer.
• Assist with drone flights.
• Assist with documentation and reports (safety, daily reports, CMMS tickets).
• Travel to other sites as needed; respond to scheduled and unscheduled service calls; follow safety policies.
