Job summary

Lufkin Ford is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team in Texas. The role involves traveling in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.

The ideal candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required, and familiarity with Ford technical bulletins is a plus.

Qualifications

• ASE certification is desired; the right candidate will have a strong service technician background.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
