Job summary

Lamarque Crescent Ford - Truck is hiring a Mobile Service Technician in New Orleans to join our team. The role involves traveling in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.

We are part of the Ford family and emphasize service to customers and the community. ASE/manufacturer certifications are preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are expected. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• B-level or higher qualifications preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Requires little or no guidance on jobs
• Valid driver license
• ASE/Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory
• Service Technician experience preferred
• Strong use of technological devices including tablets

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership
• Organize and prepare for the day's appointments and be time conscious
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance per repair order
• Communicate with Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Dept and Management regularly
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle
• Bring a start-up mindset to growing the business
