Job summary

24-Ford-of-Easton in Massachusetts seeks a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team. The right candidate will be ASE certified and comfortable traveling in the mobile service van to customer workplaces, used vehicle lots, and local auctions to handle basic service needs and recalls.

This role offers independent daily planning, diagnostic work on the road, and the chance to grow with a family-owned dealer that emphasizes long-term stability, flexible scheduling, and employee vehicle

Qualifications

• ASE certification is required.
• Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
• Travel to customer workplaces, used vehicle lots, and local auctions to handle basic service needs and recalls.
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.

Job description

We are looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and be ASE certified. Previous experience is preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include traveling in the Mobile Service van to customer workplaces, used vehicle lots, and local auctions to handle basic service needs and recalls.

We currently have three Mobile Service vehicles in our fleet, and we have just placed an order for a fourth vehicle. We are looking for a good candidate who wants to work on his or her own. The position leaves room for independent planning throughout the day and the ideal person for the position will enjoy being on the road and problem solving on their own.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
• Engage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership
• Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments
• Perform vehicle repairs and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order in a clean and efficient manner
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
• Accurately document vehicle repairs/work performed on the repair order
• Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
• Able to work occasionally in challenging weather conditions
• Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented and organized
• Valid driver license
• ASE/Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatory
• Service Technician experience preferred
• Strong use of technological devices including tablets
