Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills to interact with passengers, employees, visitors and contractors.
• Ability to conduct patrols and respond to incidents following site procedures.
• Documentation of incidents and observations as required by procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transportation facilities, transit platforms, parking areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public spaces; assist with directing visitors and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and daily documentation while communicating professionally with transit operations staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.
