Job summary

CHR's Mobile OTP program seeks a Recovery Support Specialist I to join the Putnam main site. This full-time, on-site role supports MOUD delivery and patient-centered recovery planning, with typical shifts Monday–Saturday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

Candidates will use motivational interviewing, develop individualized care plans, provide follow-up coaching, and coordinate with treatment teams. Lived recovery experience and 2+ years with target populations are preferred; certification within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

• Lived experience establishing and maintaining recovery from mental health or substance use condition(s) as required by position.
• 2+ years working with identified populations and specifically as RSS preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in identifying and advocating their own recovery goals.
• Utilizes program models, including motivational interventions.
• Conducts program-specific assessments and screens as indicated.
• Collaborates with clients to create individualized treatment plans.
• Provides crisis intervention or de-escalation as needed.
• Provides case management and links to community resources.
• Maintains documentation per agency standards.
