Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care is seeking a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient team in a low-stress clinical setting. You will perform routine radiographic exams, assist with patient intake, and help maintain a comfortable patient experience across Troy, Sidney, and Piqua clinics.

We require an active RT certification and CPR, with 1–2 years of clinic experience preferred. Strong organization, communication, and the ability to travel locally are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RT certification is required.
• 1–2 years of clinic or physician practice experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between designated sites.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging.
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms.
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly.
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately.
• Support a positive patient experience through clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks.

Overview:
Are you looking for a more relaxed, patient-focused radiology role—without the stress of surgery or complex imaging procedures? We are seeking a dependable and professional X-Ray Technician to join our friendly, fast-paced team. This is a low-stress clinical position with no surgeries, no fluoroscopic exams, and no hospital environment. As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you’ll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

This position would float between Troy, Sidney and Piqua clinics

Duties:
