Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care invites a dependable X-Ray Technician to join our outpatient clinics across Easton, Morse Rd, Clime Rd, Hilliard, Lancaster, Groveport and Canal Winchester. This is a low-stress clinical position focused on routine X-rays and patient comfort in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include Active RT or GXMO certification, 1–2 years clinic experience, CPR, and strong teamwork. Travel between sites is expected to support providers and patient care.

Qualifications

• Active RT or GXMO certification is required.
• 1–2 years of clinic or physician practice experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a team player is important.
• Basic EMR/computer skills are needed.
• Current CPR certification is required (or willingness to obtain).
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between designated sites.
• Maintain a calm, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers.
• Travel between Easton, Morse Rd, Clime Rd, Hilliard, Lancaster, Groveport, Canal Winchester clinics for mobile X-ray services.
• Assist with basic patient intake and registration.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms.
• Ensure X-ray equipment is functional and clean; report issues.
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately.
• Support positive patient experience with clear communication and compassionate care.
• Occasionally train new team members and assist in light clinical flow tasks.

As part of our outpatient urgent care setting, you'll support providers by performing routine diagnostic X-rays and helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for every patient.

Duties

• Perform standard radiographic exams as ordered by providers—no fluoroscopy or advanced imaging required
• Travel between our Easton and Morse Rd or Clime Rd and Hilliard or Lancaster/Groveport/Canal Winchester clinics to provide mobile X-ray services
• Assist with basic patient intake: history, vitals, and registration
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Ensure proper function and cleanliness of X-ray equipment; report issues promptly
• Log and document X-ray procedures accurately
