Job summary

PEOPLE is seeking a capable property services coordinator to support site managers across multiple locations in California. You will handle tenant applications, recertifications, lease documents, move-in/move-out inspections, rent collection, and file maintenance while ensuring compliant processes and timely reporting.

You will coordinate with maintenance and administration, manage keys, assist with audits, and help deliver tenant programs.

Qualifications

• General computer literacy is required.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.
• Ability to provide professional customer service.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist at larger sites or fill in during site manager absences.
• Process tenant applications and annual recertifications.
• Review audits and prepare reports.
• Assign tasks and approve time cards for the key holders.
• Collect rents and maintain tenant and unit files.
• Perform move-in and move-out inspections with managers.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance; coordinate with vendors.
• Manage keys for apartments and common areas; assist with lockouts.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports; stay within the operating budget.
• Support tenant programs and emergency preparedness.
