TridentCare in Raleigh, NC is seeking a PICC Line Nurse to assess patients and perform PICC line placements with strict aseptic technique. Responsibilities include documenting insertions, obtaining informed consent, and communicating with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications include a nursing degree, current RN license, PICC certification, and BLS. Minimum experience includes 2 years in OR/IR/PICC insertion. Pay rate is $45/hr with a flexible schedule.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• PICC Certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of caring for central venous catheters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 2 years of OR, IR, or PICC insertion experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and evaluate the patient and determine PICC line placement.
• Perform PICC placement with aseptic technique and minimize patient discomfort.
• Ensure physician orders and informed consent are in place.
• Document insertion and radiographic confirmation per policy.
• Educate patients and families about PICC care and maintenance.
• Maintain clinical competency with regular PICC insertions and provide staff with guidance.
