Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation to and from patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy under the direction of the physical therapist.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules; completes timely clinical and billing documentation.
• Works with rehabilitation team to implement programs for each patient.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Implements each patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the PT.
