Job summary

Genesis HealthCare seeks a Part-Time to Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient rehabilitation in home and community settings for older adults. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, flexibility, and collaboration with a licensed PT.

The PTA will support evaluation and treatment in the patient\'s home or in community facilities, document care promptly, and share progress with family and caregivers. A flexible schedule helps serve diverse community needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid PTA license or license eligibility in Massachusetts.
• Must have valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patient homes.
• Experience delivering outpatient or home-based physical therapy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attends patient care conferences as a representative of PT under supervision.
• Adheres to treatment schedules and completes timely clinical and billing documentation as required.
• Works with rehabilitation team to implement patient programs.
• Instructs patients and families in therapy techniques under the PT supervision.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Performs prescribed PTA treatments in home and outpatient settings.
