Job summary

Genesis HealthCare seeks a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home outpatient rehabilitation for older adults in Dracut, MA and surrounding towns. The PTA works under a licensed Physical Therapist, evaluating and treating patients in their homes to promote independence and better function.

The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, patient-centered care, and collaboration with the rehab team to implement individualized treatment plans. Valid license in MA or NH preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in MA or NH.
• Driver's license is required.
• Experience in home-health or outpatient rehab is preferred.
• Part-time availability is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation in the patient’s home setting.
• Evaluate and treat in the functional home environment under supervision of the PT.
• Collaborate with the physical therapist and rehab team on treatment plans.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and scheduling.
