Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to provide on-site pre-analytical lab services in Albuquerque, NM, driving to client facilities (primarily nursing homes) and collecting specimens per physician orders.

You will follow universal precautions, maintain certifications, and coordinate with dispatchers to complete routes efficiently. Requires phlebotomy license and a valid driver’s license; compensation ranges with experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a current, valid State phlebotomy license (if required).
• Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes.
• Unloads phlebotomy tray and collects samples at patient bedside.
• Accurately identifies patients before collecting specimens and labels/delivers samples.
• Reloads equipment and specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery and reports status to dispatcher.
• Maintains time records and follows all specimen preservation and handling procedures.
