Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a full-time phlebotomist to travel to client facilities, mainly nursing homes, performing blood draws and specimen handling with strict adherence to procedures.

The role requires current licensure, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. You will maintain logs, coordinate draws, and work with dispatch and lab teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current clinical licensure, if required by state.
• Proficient in phlebotomy procedures including venipuncture.
• Must have a current and valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Proficient in written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Drive to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed by dispatch.
• Follow established phlebotomy procedures for blood samples.
• Identify patients accurately before drawing blood.
• Label specimens correctly and accompany with requisition and billing info.
• Transport specimens according to policy and maintain PHI compliance.
• Plan draw schedules with priority to patients and keep records clean.
