American Health Associates is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Indianapolis, visiting patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and delivering quality laboratory services with a flexible, part-time schedule.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, independent work, and accurate specimen handling, with certification preferred and experience with elderly patients.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Clean background as required for direct patient care; some states may require fingerprinting.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other locations in Indianapolis.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure proper labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory personnel.
