Job summary

American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to serve Cleveland-area patients by visiting homes, skilled nursing, and assisted living communities, delivering convenient, quality laboratory services.

You will perform venipuncture and specimen collection with elderly patients, verify identities, label specimens, and maintain strict safety and documentation standards. The role offers part-time, flexible schedules and an independent work environment.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Clean criminal history; background checks may be required.
• Home Draws: minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience; credentialing needed before Home Draw.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The self-direction to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing facilities, and other locations across Cleveland for specimen collection.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collection with elderly patients.
• Verify patient identity, label specimens, and ensure transport integrity.
• Provide compassionate service and communicate with labs and facilities.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
