Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities across Springfield, IL.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate labeling, integrity, and transport of specimens.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate with laboratory and facility personnel.
