American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to service Lafayette, IN, visiting patient homes and long-term care facilities with flexible, part-time scheduling. You will perform venipuncture, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain compassionate patient care in diverse clinical settings.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and age 21+.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Self-direction to work independently with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities, and other healthcare locations across Lafayette, Indiana.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
• Verify patient identification and ensure accurate specimen labeling, integrity, and transport.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and healthcare partners.
• Complete required documentation and communicate clearly with laboratory.
