American Health Associates is hiring a Mobile Phlebotomist to service Peoria, IL, visiting patient homes and long-term care facilities with flexible part-time schedules. You will perform venipuncture, ensure proper specimen labeling, and maintain compassionate patient interactions while coordinating with the lab and facilities to ensure timely results.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification preferred; minimum one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong venipuncture skills, especially with elderly patients.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and minimum age 21.
• Clean criminal history; additional background checks may apply.
• Home Draws: minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
• Must have a passion for SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes, nursing and assisted living facilities across Peoria, IL.
• Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Verify patient identification and correctly label and transport samples.
• Provide professional, compassionate service to elderly patients and partners.
• Document and communicate findings with laboratory staff.
