Job summary

TridentCare is seeking a full-time phlebotomy technician/driver in Provincetown, MA. You will drive to client facilities, collect specimens at patient bedsides, and ensure proper labeling and timely delivery of samples.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, maintaining sterile conditions, and coordinating with dispatch for efficient routes. A valid phlebotomy license (if applicable) and a valid driver’s license are required. Competitive wages and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Current, valid State phlebotomy license, if applicable.
• Valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record; vehicle in good condition
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture techniques
• Knowledge of laboratory operations
• Maintains sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination

Responsibilities

• Drives vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by dispatcher.
• Unloads phlebotomy supplies and takes to patient’s bedside to collect samples.
• Accurately identifies patient before collecting specimen(s).
• Accurately collects, labels, processes, and delivers specimens.
• Reloads equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery.
• Regularly communicates with dispatcher to report status and location.
