Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist to perform venipunctures and collect specimens across multiple settings. You will work under supervision within clinical and field service environments, ensuring accurate labeling, processing, and timely transport of samples.

Responsibilities include patient identification, collaboration with team members, and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining high quality standards and customer service levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASCP Phlebotomy Technician certification preferred or required by site.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain specimens per CLSI guidelines.
• Identify patients, label and accession specimens accurately.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintain competency through LMS-based training and assessments.
• Operate mobile phlebotomy toolkit and lift up to 15 pounds.
