Geisinger Primary Care Philipsburg is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered laboratory team. You will perform venipunctures and skin punctures, ensure proper labeling and processing, and contribute to a safe, accurate specimen workflow in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You'll collaborate with medical staff and lab leadership to deliver high-quality care, mentor new employees, and uphold Geisinger’s values while supporting patients across inpatient, outpatient, and field service

Competenze

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• Certification: ASCP Phlebotomy Technician preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Mansioni

• Perform venipunctures and skin punctures according to CLSI guidelines.
• Label, accession, and process specimens accurately.
• Mentor students and new employees.
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure patient safety and quality care.
