Job summary

Hunter Care Health is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist/Specimen Collector to collect blood and specimens at patients' homes, clinics, and other sites. You will verify patient identity, perform venipuncture, label and transport specimens, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and CLIA.

The role requires travel across service areas, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED. Excellent customer service and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to travel throughout assigned service areas.
• Flexible schedule and reliable attendance.
• Preferred: national phlebotomy certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient and perform venipuncture blood collection.
• Collect urine and other specimen types as assigned.
• Label specimens and ensure accuracy before transport.
• Transport specimens to laboratories within required timeframes.
• Maintain specimen integrity during collection, storage and transport.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA and company policies.
• Travel to assigned sites and manage collection routes.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service to patients and clients.
