Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our mobile outpatient team, delivering in-home rehabilitation across Stoneham to Revere. This full-time role provides outpatient services in the patient’s home or in independent living facilities, with a flexible schedule and a $5,000 bonus.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master’s in PT related field plus Bachelor's in PT; or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience.
• Degree earned outside the U.S. must be evaluated to the U.S. equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to patients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PT Assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as required.
• Adhere to department and patient treatment schedules, documentation, and meetings.
• Attend and contribute to patient care and staff conferences.
• Make referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs.
• Collaborate with rehab team to select appropriate treatment regimens.
• Adapt plan of care to patient needs and capabilities.
• Promote safety and eliminate hazards.
• Order supplies and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain and report on equipment condition and repairs.
• Prioritize patient service and compassionate care.
• Screen, assess and develop diagnosis-based treatment goals and plans.
• Perform and document home and community mobility assessments.
• Incorporate health and wellness programming.
• Perform other related duties as required.
