Job summary
Powerback is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver outpatient rehabilitation services in home-based settings for older adults. Therapists evaluate, design, and implement PT programs in patients' homes or living facilities, promoting independence and safety.
The role requires a PT license, a master’s degree (or equivalent) in physical therapy, and valid transportation to visit patients. Salary includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and supports continuing education and mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field with a PT Bachelor's.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive PT experience is acceptable per qualification list.
- Must have reliable transportation to patient homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home outpatient rehabilitation services to older adults.
- Develop and implement individualized PT treatment plans.
- Coordinate referrals to other disciplines as needed.
- Supervise assistants, trainees, and temporary licensees when applicable.
- Educate patients and caregivers to promote independence.
