Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in El Paso, TX is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our autonomous, collaborative team in a PRN role focused on functional rehabilitation in real-life settings.

You will assess, treat, and re-evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and coordinate with families and other therapists to promote independence across home, school, work, and community activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted state OT license to practice.
• CPR Certification required.
• Minimum of one year OT experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological conditions preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness; attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations with recommendations for home and community safety.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care.
