Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation seeks an Optometrist to provide general optometry services in Southeast Massachusetts nursing homes and long-term care facilities. You will diagnose, treat, and manage ocular and systemic eye-related conditions, with daily travel to facilities in your territory.

A license to practice optometry is required, along with independent work capability and EMR proficiency. Part-time or full-time with flexible scheduling and a supportive administrative team.

Qualifications

• OD degree required and licensed in the state.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication.
• Comfort with email, internet, and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide optometry services to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Document patient information in EMR and manage care.
• Travel daily to assigned facilities for mobile patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
