Job summary

HealthDrive is seeking an Optometrist to work 2–5 days per week in Southeast Massachusetts, serving nursing homes and long-term care facilities in Norfolk, Plymouth, and Bristol counties. The position offers flexible scheduling with no evenings or weekends and an opportunity to earn $800+ per day via production, with a $625 daily minimum.

Full-time benefits are available, including mileage reimbursement, 100% malpractice coverage, and full administrative support.

Qualifications

Doctorate of Optometry (OD) required.
State professional license.
Valid driver’s license.
TPA certified/Legend Drug Certificate.
Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to use email, the internet and to learn other healthcare related software.

Responsibilities

Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities within an assigned territory.
Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the visual system and related structures.
Identify systemic conditions affecting the eye.
Enter patient information and document in EMR.
Mobile model requires daily travel to facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
