Job summary

HealthDrive Corporation is seeking a full-time Optometrist to provide comprehensive optometry services to residents in nursing homes and long-term care facilities across Northern and Central New Jersey.

The role offers production-based earnings with a daily minimum and a 10k sign-on bonus. Expect mileage reimbursement, full malpractice coverage, and dedicated administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) required.
• State professional license required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• TPA certification/Legend Drug Certificate required.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to use email, internet, and healthcare software.

Responsibilities

• Provide general optometry services to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases of the visual system and eye.
• Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye.
• Enter patient information and document in the EMR system.
• Daily travel to skilled nursing facilities for mobile care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
