Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks an MRI Technologist to join our stable, employee-owned team. This part-time role offers the chance to operate a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner while serving local communities across Kansas.

You will be part of SMS, ONETEAM, delivering high-quality imaging with patient-centered care. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, administering contrast under Radiologist guidance, reviewing patient screening forms, and maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration required.
• ARRT (MR) registration preferred.
• Ability to perform quality MRI imaging with limited supervision and maintain professionalism.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen, and physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and clearly explain the procedure to patients.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality while keeping technical skills current.
