Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks an MRI Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. The role involves operating a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner and delivering high-quality imaging to local communities while contributing to a stable, employee-owned organization.

The position requires ARRT(R) or ARMRIT registration, with ARRT(MR) registration preferred, and a commitment to ongoing education and patient safety. Eligible for ESOP and 401(k) benefits as part of SMS ONETEAM.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) or ARMRIT registration is required.
• ARRT(MR) registration preferred.
• Must demonstrate professional, ethical conduct and interact effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per standards of practice, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality while keeping technical skills current through CE.
