Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role involves working with a state-of-the-art mobile scanner to serve local communities, with a flexible environment within a stable, employee-centric organization.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration required or preferred for MR procedures.
• Ability to perform MRI imaging with limited supervision and maintain professional conduct.
• Successful passing of pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and explain the procedure to patients.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety, confidentiality and ongoing education to stay technically competent.
