Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to work with our state-of-the-art mobile scanner, serving local communities across multiple facilities. You will join a stable, employee-owned organization committed to high-quality imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, reviewing screening forms, explaining the process, and maintaining patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality while keeping up with continuing education to stay technically

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in radiology is required or ARMRIT registration may be considered.
• Ability to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality imaging.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients and healthcare staff.
• Successful completion of pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures according to standards and site guidelines.
• Review patient screening forms and explain the procedure to the patient.
• Maintain patient care, safety, confidentiality and ongoing education.
