Job summary

Shared Medical Services is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. This part-time role involves working with a state-of-the-art mobile scanner, serving local communities, and contributing to a stable, employee-owned organization.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration required.
• MR registration with ARRT preferred.
• Ability to perform imaging with limited supervision and maintain professional conduct.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards of practice, including administering contrast agents under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and clearly explain the procedure to the patient.
• Maintain excellent patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, and continue education to maintain technical competency.
