Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks an MRI Technologist to operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment in our local facilities. This part-time role focuses on quality imaging, patient comfort, and adherence to safety standards while collaborating with Radiologists.

You’ll administer contrast under supervision and maintain clinical competencies. SMS offers guaranteed hours, competitive pay with annual wage reviews, paid drive time and mileage reimbursement, and an ESOP.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registered.
• ARRT (MR) registered preferred.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per standards of practice, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and clearly explain procedures to patients.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety, confidentiality and ongoing technical competency.
