Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors to support military personnel at various locations in Kansas. The role emphasizes weekend work with occasional weekdays under RHRP, with flexible placement at remote military installations.

Applicants should hold an active NP license in Kansas, CPR/BLS certification, and have experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health. Travel and extended hours may be required; supervision may be necessary per state rules.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
