Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors, delivering health readiness services to U.S. military members. Most work occurs on weekends with occasional weekday duties under the RHRP in Texas, across remote installations as needed.

You will assess, review records, interview personnel, and document readiness in our system. Applicants must hold an active NP license in the state, CPR/BLS, and have experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health with mobile

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Experience with Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health.
• Experience with mobile medical services.
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology.
• Willing to travel and weekend work; extended hours.
• Adaptable to fast paced environments.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Not required to diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.

Skills

Active NP license

CPR/BLS Certification

Experience in Primary/Urgent/OH

Mobile medical services experience

Military systems knowledge

Willing to travel and weekend work
