Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Diagnostic Radiology Program.
• New York State DOH Licensed in Radiology Technology.
• Current ARRT and BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and provide immobilization devices to produce diagnostic images.
• Selects and applies proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
• Selects and operates equipment as directed.
• Provide protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• Process exams and perform QA on images.
• Assist physician in the administration of opaque media when applicable.
• Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross contamination.
• Oversee and instruct students or appropriate hospital personnel.
