Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Loader Operator for our North America operations. The role involves operating straight or articulated loaders to lift and transport bulk materials, with responsibilities including pre-shift inspections, routine maintenance, and site housekeeping.

Travel to other plants is required, and the ideal candidate has 12 months of loader experience with 980M/982M machines, a proven safety record, and a HS/GED education. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12 months of loader operator experience with 980M/982M loaders.
• Prior work experience around heavy equipment, construction, or paving is preferred.
• Basic mechanical maintenance knowledge or skills.
• Proven safety record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school & GED.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Starts engine, shifts gears, and operates loader to move material.
• Moves bucket to load and unload at work site, and drives to locations.
• Performs pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on the loader.
• Maintains communications with supervisors and customers serviced.
• Clean and secure tools and equipment after use.
