Job summary

Cox Fleet, part of Cox Automotive, is seeking a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support on-site and mobile repair services across customer locations. The role emphasizes performing PMs, DOT inspections, and various repairs on light and medium-duty vehicles.

Travel is required 100% of the time, with a rotating schedule. The position offers production-based pay and opportunities for technical training and career advancement within Cox Fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own set of hand tools needed to perform duties.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicles.
• 2 years of experience in a similar technician role.
• Participate in required company training.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and perform work outside.
• Perform PM, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light/medium vehicles.
• Change oil, check batteries and lubricate equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, engine, and transmission systems.
• Document work orders with RO photos and notes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
