Job summary

Cox Fleet in Houston, TX is seeking a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join our field service team. You will perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, diagnostics, and DOT inspections at customer locations as part of our rapidly growing service network.

This role requires travel up to three weeks per month, a rotating Mon-Fri / Mon-Sat schedule, and a flat-rate pay model with abundant work. Training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum one year of automotive technician experience on light/medium vehicles.
• Two years in a similar technician role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations and perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, steering and engine systems.
• Use a range of hand tools and diagnostic equipment to complete work.
• Document work performed and parts used in repair orders.
