Job summary

Cox Fleet, now part of Cox Automotive Mobility Fleet Services, is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our growing fleet network. You will perform preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics at customer sites, traveling to service diverse fleets with a flexible schedule.

Expect a production-based pay model, including potential incentives and a strong emphasis on safety, with opportunities for technical training and internal advancement within the Cox family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar capacity Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections on light/medium vehicles at customer locations.
• Carry out light/medium repairs and routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and battery checks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems in field conditions.
• Document work performed and parts used on repair orders and maintain safe, organized work areas.
