Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to support our mobile service network. You will perform preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics at customer locations across the region.

The role requires travel up to three weeks per month, serving multiple customers. A rotating schedule and a flat-rate pay model apply, with opportunities for additional compensation and career development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Safe drivers with a valid license.
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicles.
• 2 years of equivalent experience in a similar technician role.
• Participation in required company training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and light/medium repairs at customer locations.
• Conduct DOT inspections and follow-up repairs.
• Change oil, check batteries, lubricate equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling systems, and engines.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance on job sites.
• Document work using RO system and photos.
