Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Light & Medium Duty Technician to perform certified DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light through heavy-duty trucks. You will work on assigned fleets with safety and quality at the forefront.

The role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and good communication with Dispatch and customers. DOT compliance and accurate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years related experience.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical.
• Valid driver's license and 21+ years old.
• Own set of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment.
• participate in safety training and maintain safety compliance.
• Document work orders with photos using company app.
• Communicate with Dispatch and management for estimates and approvals.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brakes, cooling, and engine systems.
• Maintain parts inventory and work independently to manage schedule.
