Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our mobile outpatient team in Connecticut. You will deliver in-home and community-based occupational therapy to older adults, assess client needs, and develop personalized, goal-driven treatment plans in patients’ homes or in living facilities.

You’ll work with a multidisciplinary rehab team, maintain timely documentation, supervise aides, and adapt care plans as progress dictates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from ACOTE-accredited program.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Active OT license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient occupational therapy services in home and community settings.
• Supervise OT assistants and students as allowed by state licensure.
• Maintain timely clinical and billing documentation and attend meetings.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapy regimens.
• Adapt plans of care based on patient needs and progress.
• Ensure patient safety and proper equipment handling; order supplies as needed.
