Genesis HealthCare's Powerback Rehab Mobile Outpatient Therapy in Vernon CT is hiring an Occupational Therapist for full-time, in-home outpatient rehab for older adults, including care in private residences or ILF settings. The role emphasizes comprehensive evaluation, therapy planning, and collaboration with the rehab team to restore function and independence.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of $54–$62 plus a $5,000 bonus, full benefits for FT staff, mentoring for new grads, CEUs, visa

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation to/from patient's residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting or in an ILF/senior living environment.
• Supervise OT assistants, temporary licensees, students and support personnel as needed.
• Adhere to treatment schedules, complete clinical and billing documentation, and participate in meetings.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team and physicians to select the most appropriate regimen.
• Adapt plan of care to patient needs and ensure safety and quality of service.
• Perform assessments and document progress, incorporating cognitive, motor, and functional goals.
