Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an OT program accredited by ACOTE standards.
Initial registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Valid and unencumbered OT license as required in the state of practice.
Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to/from patient homes.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in patients' homes or in living facilities.
Plan and conduct OT programs to facilitate rehabilitation and functional independence.
Supervise OT assistants and students as required by licensure and policy.
Collaborate with rehab team and physicians to select appropriate therapy regimens.
Assess patients, set goals, implement treatment plans, and document progress.
