Akumin Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Patient Coordinator for our mobile unit and fixed radiology sites in St. Helena, Santa Rosa, and surrounding CA areas.

You will greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, and insurance verification, while ensuring accurate records and HIPAA compliance. The role emphasizes strong customer service, organization, and teamwork across locations. This position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR certification before hire, and a valid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.
• Local travel to support multiple sites may be required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, customers and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Register patients in various systems and verify insurance where applicable.
• Collect payments for time-of-service patient responsibility when needed.
• Schedule patient appointments and obtain insurance verification/authorization.
• Maintain accurate patient records and HIPAA-compliant documentation.
