Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems in an on-site Orlando facility. The role emphasizes HVAC, electrical, plumbing and equipment repair, with focus on safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in building engineering, relevant trades training, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
• Two years of trades school or apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC, plumbing or other craft skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems and equipment.
• Maintain, operate and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing and related building components.
• Conduct inspections and due diligence to report conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.
• Follow safety procedures, maintain housekeeping, and participate in safety trainings and calls.
